KIDS ZONE (Nursery, Nursery & K.G.)


The syllabus becomes broader based at this level and gradually the young learner is exposed to a wide range of subjects and study material which is suitably graded. Apart from Math, English and Hindi, subjects like General Knowledge, Environmental Education and Social Studies are introduced as is also Computer Education.

As early as class I, students learn to work on computers in the Multimedia Lab which has been especially equipped to meet the needs of youngest of learners. Here they are introduced to computers through Educational CD’s and games, then they gradually move to Windows and Paints. Subsequently they learn the rudiments of Logo, MS-Word, MS-PowerPoint and MS-Excel, thus completing their elementary computer education.

A plethora of choice is given to the students for their Activity Classes ranging from pottery to public speaking, cookery to clay modelling. Last but not the least, in order to inculcate moral values and general awareness of the students, inter-active sessions are held in Value Education and General Knowledge classes. The teaching of all the subjects is interactive and activity based and the students are enthusiastic, active participants in the whole learning experience.


From Classes VI to class VIII, the curriculum of all the academic subjects as well as a variety of co-curricular activities encourages creativity, aesthetics and adventure. All students study English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology), Social Studies (History, Civics and Geography), Computer, Environmental Education and Sanskrit.

Co-curricular activities include Socially Useful & Productive Work (Art, Music, Dance, Electronics, Science Club, Geography Club, and Literary Club), Physical and Health Education and Computer Education.

The Students are made to visit and work in all the laboratories in the school ranging from Science, Social Science, Math and Language Labs. Learning through Power Point Presentations and slides cover a major part of their curriculum which is all the more enhanced by the recently initiated E-learning Module in the School.


Classes IX and X take 5 Subjects: English, a second language (Hindi or Sanskrit), Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) and Social Science (covering History, Civics, Geography and Economics) and Computer Science. Co-curricular subjects include Physical and Health Education, Environmental Education, Moral Science, Work Experience. The Board conducts examinations for the 5 subjects, while the school provides grades for co-curricular subjects.


Students of Class XI and XII may take Science or Commerce Course, each of which covers FIVE subjects.

The Science Course: English, Physics, Chemistry are the compulsory subjects for the students.

A. The Medical Stream: This has Biology as the Fourth subject while the Fifth subject can be Maths.

B. The Non Medical Stream: This has fourth subject as Mathematics and the fifth subject can be Computer Science.

The Commerce Course: English, Accountancy, Business Studies and Economics are compulsory subjects. For the fifth subject, students have a choice of Mathematics.

(Physical Education can be opted as the sixth subject in all the streams in class XII only.)

The class XII course culminates in the All India Senior Secondary Examinations, which is also conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education.
